My name’s are madam REGINA NYEKPUNWO AMADI, I am a native of Ikwerre, from Mgbuosimini, also known as Rumueme, Oroakwor’s family in Mile 4 Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. What I am about to say is of a true life confession, irrespective of the outcome of my confession. There’s no problem even if I will pay with my own blood (to die) after confessing the truth to the world. I just want to let the world know the truth and let my mind be free of guilt before my death. I don’t need any forgiveness from anybody not even from God because my practice (evil deeds) and position in the witchcraft rhyme has gone beyond forgiveness and I have satisfied my mind and that of my queen mother as well as fulfilling my promise to the secret temple (voodoo’s temple) where I belong from anyone. This is my confession.

It all started some time in 1976 when I went to visit an old woman in my family who was my bosom friend, though she’s dead physically but, I will not mention her name because her soul still dwells in the secret temple. This old woman sells akara and raw pap, when she was alive. One day, I went to visit her as usual in her house, reaching there, she brought some prepared pap and some fried akara and invited me over the breakfast, no doubt, I rationed the food with her not knowing that she bewitched the food and succeeded in initiating me into witchcraft world via the food we ate together.

Thereafter, every night in my sleep by 1:00am I will be hearing my name, some voices I don’t know will be calling me to come out and join them that the hour has come. At a time, I will see myself in midst of some persons I rarely see physically singing and dancing with them and practicing some unusual things (drinking blood in form of wine). When I wake up from my sleep the next morning and make an utterance to anybody is will happen exactly as spoken.

Initially, I used to think it was just a nightmare but, I finally came to realize that I was successfully initiated into witchcraft when I began to see myself flying every mid night.

The place we usually have our meetings is at Oroazi Village, the big three situated along the road side, and it is every Thursday night around 1:00am.

The first assignment they gave me was to kill my only brother and made my two sisters childless. My two sister’s wombs were also removed and offered as scarifies to the secret temple (witchcraft), immediately after executing these assignments, I was promoted to the second level, and I acquired more powers to operate. The more blood sacrifices you make, the more powers you acquire.

The second assignment was to kill my proposed husband’s father and mother (Chituru’s father) inlaw, who came for a few weeks visit all the way from Kogi State, Nigeria, when I was pregnant for their son the first man that was suppose to marry me called Mr. Abbe Idibia, from Kogi State and a Youth Corper in Rivers State, residing at Rumueme, my home town. We had a baby and that baby is my first son called Chituru I. Amadi.

I killed my father and mother in-law by poisoned food because they began to suspect me to be a witch. When Mr. Abbe, the father of my first son Chituru traveled home to burial his parents, they revealed to him that I was a witch and was responsible for the death of his parents.

One day, just after the burial of his parents, he came back from the village and decided to pick up his few things and left us, since then I and our son (Chituru I. Amadi) had not set our eyes on him again.

Nevertheless, while I was still a teacher in 1979 in St. Thamos Anglican Church Primary School, I was on my way to work, just at Ikokwu junction along Ikwerre road Port Harcourt, a noble man called Chief Nyekazi Wechie who was a block molder and had a block industry at Ikokwu by Amaigbo school gate met me somewhere around Ikokwu junction on my way to work that morning, he recognized me as his son’s teacher and was asking me about our on coming promotional examinations, I looked at him with the spiritual eyes and saw he was the kind of man I ever wanted.

In response to his question, I told him to give me the address to his office that I would come to see him later at the office to update him after proper verification about what he needed to know and he gave me his complimentary card, after work period I went to see him at his office, reaching there, I seduced him spiritually, and instantly he asked me for friendship without hesitation, which I accepted irrespective of the fact that he already had a legitimately married wife called MRS. FIN BABY WECHIE, who already had five (5) children for him (4 boys and I girl). After we had established a relationship, Chief Emma Nyekazi Wechie usually came to my house at Oroakwor to have funs with me because he had a wife and children at home. I tried everything I could to make Chief take me to his house but he wouldn’t do that, instead he kept talking about his beloved first son called Chimenum Henshaw Wechie. He so much loved the son and talked about him all the time, so I became so much jealous about the whole thing and I realized the only way to break through was to take his mind off the son. I thought of what to do, the Queen mother told me the only way was to afflict the son with deaf and dump, that way his love for the son would completely fade away. No doubt, I did exactly what Queen mother said and gradually he got tired of the son’s sudden untreatable handicap (deaf and dump) which automatically rendered the wife very unhappy for as long as she lived.

The wife (Mrs. Fina Baby Wechie) them became a stumbling block to me, no way to come into Chief’s house and take over everything as already planned in the secret temple (witchcraft). So one Thursday nigh, at about 1:00am while we were on meeting the Queen mother sent I and another witch called “Confusion” to go in between chief and his wife to unleash confusion so that I could penetrate and subdue the wife’s spirit.
That night, Chief and his wife fought till dawn, during this fighting period, I came to Chief’s house spiritually, nobody saw me, I took the wife’s weavon from her room and her wrapper while she was there fighting and quarrelling her husband (Chief) and I left the room nobody saw me.

That weavon and wrapper were used as a point of contact to her spirit and made things easier when we wanted her blood for sacrifice. No doubt, after a month we summoned her spirit before the secret temple (witchcraft) and she was judged before the court of the secret temple and was offered as sacrificial lamb to the guilty Queen mother for sanctification of the order secret temple and that was how she died in the year 1996. Seven (7) months later, after her death and burial, Chief began an arrangement for our marriage, though, I never really liked Chief but because of his wealth and riches which I was so desperate of grabbing and I was already three (3) months pregnant for chiefs’s tailorman called Mr. Monday Chinda whom I actually loved and cherished because he’s a machine when it comes to sex (very good in sex) and that’s what I love best, chief thought he was responsible for the pregnancy as I claimed based on the plans between I and Mr. Monday (has tailorman) who actually was the rightful owner of the pregnancy. So one day, chief traveled and did not come back the day he was supposed to. Two days later, he cam back and came to my house direct, all of a sudden he caught I and Mr. Monday on my bed red handed making love that was how he realized what was going on between I and Mr. Monday which was the reason why he abandoned me and every necessary arrangements concerning the marriage plans.
The Queen mother assured me Chief would come back to me after performing some sacrifices but instead, chief went and married another woman and wedded her in St. Amos Anglican Church and before I realized it, their wedding was already over and nothing could be done anymore, this was around 1998. So I vowed to destroy chief and his family.

Not only that, I went ahead and removed the womb of that woman and offered it as sacrifice to the secret order (witchcraft temple) and made her childless to chief. Today, that woman did not bear any child for chief, and I’m responsible for her childlessness. Her names are: Mrs. Violet Ndo Wechie.

Finally, Mr. Monday Chinda Amadi (my husband) took care of the pregnancy I had for him (Nyebuchi Prince Amadi) till I put the baby to birth and it was a baby boy, who was name Nyebuchi Prince Amadi. After which Mr. Monday Chinda went ahead and married me and we had another two (2) issues a boy and a girl named.

1. BUDUKA LIVINGSTONE AMADI (MY 3RD SON)
2. ORONNE CHIZIM AMADI (MY 1ST DAUGHTER)
Later on, the secret order (Queen mother) asked me to sacrifice my husband or I die, I had no choice than to obey, I sacrificed my husband (Mr. Monday Chinda Amadi) and became a widow.

So, out of anger, I started dealing with chief and the children of late Mrs. Fina Baby Wechie (chief’s late wife). No doubt, I succeeded in afflicting her only daughter, late Cynthia Wechie with madness who was a Youth Corper and finally killed her. Her last born called Chimanma Wechie I paralyzed him with stroke and finally killed him in 2011 while he was still in year three (3) in Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Few months after Chimanma’s death, chief followed. Chief Emma Nyekazi Wechie’s death was a gradual one because that is how it was planned to be. First and foremost, he was poisoned with gradually killing charm that lasted for at least 5-6 months in his body and began to develop into bigger different illnesses everyday and then tends to gradually lead him to his grave so that no one will ever suspect anything. Finally, we took his life around November to December 2011. Then, her third son called Bright A. Wechie who is in London, I made him forget home forever and never to return to Nigeria again.

Then, the only available sons being Mr. Chimenum Henshaw Wechie and Barrister Churchill Okedu Wechie whose spirits were too stubborn for the Queen mother have been the only people depriving me and my children of taking charge over the properties and wealth of late Chief Emma Nyekazi Wechie. These people were the only stumbling block in my way and refuse to die, we tried every thing we could yet nothing seem to work out. Each time we tried to call out their spirits in our secret temple, a lightening thunder appears before us and tends to get all of us burnt including the Queen mother.

So, on our last attempt to eliminate these two souls so that my plans could be achieved, a thundering loud voice with flashes of light appears, warning us in the temple that anymore attempt well all shall get burnt and die, after that voice had left us, the Queen mother and other supremos gave me an abstained warning to desist or die, which I adhered with no choice.

Since we couldn’t extract the blood of the lawyer for sacrifice, we now wanted to take that his newly born son.

I was sent to Barrister Churchill’s house just a week after the wife had put a baby boy to birth to see if I would be allowed to carry or bathe the baby but as if they knew my motive, they refused me from coming in, I felt like they knew what I was up to so I left and reported back to the Queen mother.

So, after every attempt, neither Chimenmum, Barrister Churchhill nor his new born son could be sacrificed. So the secret temple (witchcraft) now ordered me to offer my two sons Nyebuchi and Buduka in replacement of Chimenmum and Barrister or I die. They have even remoted my son Buduka Livingstone Amadi such that he behaves abnormally at times, and always wanting to take me to bed. He has successfully done it once with me and always wanting to do it.

They now want to kill me for refusing to offer my two sons (Nyebuchi and Buduka) as sacrificial lambs to the secret temple in replacement of Mr. Chimenum Henshaw Wechie and Barrister Churchhill O. Wechie.
I am not afraid to die but just want the world to know the truth and the mystery behind everything that happened to chief and his family.

The restless spirits of those we took together with the secret order (Queen mother) are now after me and my children, tormenting us day and night. The future of my children have also been nailed down in the secret temple such that they will never be useful and successful throughout their life time their life time and will have nothing to show forth no matter how much harder they labour. My pretty daughter, Oronne Chizim Amadi they have collected her womb long time ago and she can no longer bear children anymore, not in her life time.

Please, let the world particularly friends and well wishers join hands to beg my children for me. I know I have wrong them in different ways and in various processes while trying to better their lives.

As for me, I’m already dead because anytime they will surely come for my soul which was what I pledged for and I’m not afraid to die, if I die nobody should mourn me because I have opted for it long ago I beg to stop here now, more confessions will be made later.

PORT HARCOURT – A lawyer, Mr Churchill Wechie, had admitted parting with N100,000 to secure his own bail at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Wechie’s claims, contained in an affidavit, were deposed by the lawyer before a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt in a suit No FHC/CS/06/2012 between him and the Inspector General of Police and nine others.

In addition, the lawyer stressed that he had been under “immense pressures”, since giving the initial bribe, to cough out additional N500,000 to the fingered police men who reportedly claimed the bribe money was in the orders of the Inspector General of Police.

In the affidavit in support of an application for the enforcement of his fundamental rights which he filed June 19th 2012, the plaintiff claimed that on January 19, 2012, Seyi Williams, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Ben Ogbonna, an Inspector of Police, led a team of armed policemen to his house, arrested and detained him all day at the SCID.

He said he was granted bail at night only after he allegedly paid N100,000, deposing further that Inspector Ogbonna has since inundated him with intimidating calls demanding that he pays N500,000 more to, according him, enable the police skew investigation of the allegations for which he was arrested and detained.

The allegations, it was gathered, revolves around Wechie’s purported malicious damages to the house of his late father’s widow, Mrs Reginald Nyekpunwo Wechie Wechie on whose life he is also being accused to have raised threats over disputed properties left behind by his father.

It is yet to be determined what the court makes of his bribery allegation in the continuing case between the lawyer and the police.

why did he offer bribe in the first place? A radical and reputable counsel may not justfy this. EFFC Act and ICPC may beem their search light here. Bribery instead of orders of mandamus and habeas corpus or even invoking the enforcement of your fundamental Human Right is unprofessional. However, this piece is not well detailed. Well don't reason as if you're a visitor in this country until you find yourself in little issue that does not matter you see the kind people you call your friend police man frame you to make a confessional statement so at the end of the day something will enter into their pocket please don't blame the young layer until you become a victim of police.

According to this statement, he was only allowed bail at that time only when he parted with his money.

What if they took his money and also his life as well, which is definitely possible with these shooters will call police. So, would you then take care of the ones he would have left behind afterwards.

They tell you not to bribe the police, but what has been put in place to make sure both your right and life are protected by this same authority.

Until people start taking litigations as these against the Inspector General of police and his men, then they would know there are other avenues you can enforce your rights.

This much I know, it is the court that set bail. Please let me if I am wrong in my assertion, I am very happy to learn. Abi the lawyer is also trying to do an ODUTOLA?

It is in a case of preliminary investigation. He has not been charged to court and as it is not expidiently lawful to detain one for more than twenty four hour without charging him to court, the best thing is to grant him bail but not with the outrageous amount he fraudulently qouted. He as a Lawyer has no reason paying money for bail from police Station and if he does not know , then he is impersonating as a Lawyer which is another crime. It is only in the court you pay such money for bail or a surety in equivqlent. This man is a lier. He is trying to destroy the case and if I am there, he can not get out. Every prudent man can read a germinating plumule of blackmail from his claims. He knows that some untuthored people will say''Yes, Police has taken bribe''. Look, no sane Police man will take bribe from a Lawyer, unless he does not know the fellow to be a Lawyer. What I read as comments from some people show where they are coming from.Antergonists of the Police. Do you know that if this man is saying the truth as a Lawyer he claims to be, he will have back up from coleagues and then after that the previous charge against him begins. Look at Farouk and Otedola or whatever is his name, the heated up bribe issue overtook the subject matter,subsidy fraud. So let us know when one stupidly crying wolf like this ignorant Lawyer.

Has the lawyer forgotten that even the bribe giver is equally quilty before the law? So can he prove he actually gave bribe of that magnitude to secure his own bail? NBA should wade into this mess and conduct a clinical investigation.

That will remain in jail for long time if he did pay up. We do not operate as normal people. You guys are very naive. In Nigeria police station, you can be kept there for along as I want. Been there, done it. How did you guys think Odili, Ibori and co got Osayande and co to chase Ribadu out the country? Bribe is a 24 hrs business in Police service and it is time people stop playing to gallery with rule of law nonsense. The man did not want to died in jail. Nigeria Police is like Mafia, either the man pay up or they break one of his leg.

Aren’t we been superficial or what for crying out loud? Some of our top cops are lawyers they play the game as part and parcel of our culture. Anyone entangled with Nigeria legal debacle knows exactly what the lawyer is talking about no matter how minute the case money usually and always exchange hands, it may be illegal that’s the way it’s been for ages, please don’t dip your head in the sand pretending is not happening.

You are a disapointment, a disgrace, an illiterate, an embodiment of fraud and a carterlogue of hopeless lot. For the mere mention that you gave bribe to the police with your claim to be a lawyer, should send you to the maximum prison. You admitted guilt for the first offence you are acuused of by purportedly giving bribe to secure your release, besides, you are grossly guilty for attempting to perver justice, maligning the name of the IG, insulting the Institution of Nigeria Police,insghting confusion in a case of threat to life brought against you. Who issued you certificate as a lawyer? Where and when did you obtain it? You are the guiltiest person ever lived.

As a lawyer he should know the definition of bribe in law and should have taken precaution. His allegation may be right because in Nigeria any thing goes with the Nigerian police. I have had an experience with the police at Agege. They jumped into my car by force saying my car was a suspect because it had a foreign plate number. I told them that the car was cleared from the wharf the previous day and that the custom guy who was sorting out the car registration was still on it. They refused to listen and took the car to the station. They demanded I settle them but I refused. They threatened that they will burst the tyres of the car and I told them to go ahead. They refused me to see the DPO. After two hour my car documents was brought to the station. At this time there was nothing they could do than to allow me to see the DPO.
I met the DPO and he inspected the documents and he said I should go. I registered my anger with him and he told me that I should have settled his boys. I told him that I do not give or take bribe and I left with my car.

We accuse people of receiving bribe forgeting that if you don't give bribe, you discourage bribe taker.

What sort of lawyer gives a bribe to the police to secure his own bail? This man has no business being a lawyer. It seems that he is indeed culpable for whatever he was arrested for! Were he to a competent lawyer, he ought not to have paid any money to the police; he should have allowed the police to continue to detain him for well over the period allowed by law so that he could then bring a more competent application for enforcement of his fundamental human rights. Having given a bribe on demand, which law school did this guy attend that he did not realise that he had thereby committed a crime too? He is a disgrace to the legal professional. What odios temerity! He has a bloody nerve to come seeking sympathy! He finds none from me! So the man couldn't endure detention, an unlawful one for that matter, and thought he had to give a bribe in order to secure his own release. No wonder people say the legal profession in Nigeria has gone to the dogs. He was arrested in the morning and kept till late in the night and only released after he had parted with N100,000 bribe? Why did he pay a bribe to secure police bail? Most definitely a lawyer lacking courage, understanding of the law and, most crucially experience. In my view, he is more of a disgrace! Just another Femi Otedola and a wimp!

NO receipt for bribery. That is why is a bribe. It is illegal and always given to overlook due process, But I think the lawyer may not have a good case except he has a strong proof like photo taken during the giving and taking of thr bribe or recorded voice message.

PORT HARCOURT – A lawyer, Mr Churchill Wechie, had admitted parting with N100,000 to secure his own bail at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Wechie’s claims, contained in an affidavit, were deposed by the lawyer before a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt in a suit No FHC/CS/06/2012 between him and the Inspector General of Police and nine others.

In addition, the lawyer stressed that he had been under “immense pressures”, since giving the initial bribe, to cough out additional N500,000 to the fingered police men who reportedly claimed the bribe money was in the orders of the Inspector General of Police.

In the affidavit in support of an application for the enforcement of his fundamental rights which he filed June 19th 2012, the plaintiff claimed that on January 19, 2012, Seyi Williams, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Ben Ogbonna, an Inspector of Police, led a team of armed policemen to his house, arrested and detained him all day at the SCID.

He said he was granted bail at night only after he allegedly paid N100,000, deposing further that Inspector Ogbonna has since inundated him with intimidating calls demanding that he pays N500,000 more to, according him, enable the police skew investigation of the allegations for which he was arrested and detained.

The allegations, it was gathered, revolves around Wechie’s purported malicious damages to the house of his late father’s widow, Mrs Reginald Nyekpunwo Wechie Wechie on whose life he is also being accused to have raised threats over disputed properties left behind by his father.

It is yet to be determined what the court makes of his bribery allegation in the continuing case between the lawyer and the police.

On Thursday January 5, 2012, the Inspector General of Police Hafiz Ringim upon a petition from the Civil Liberties Organization Rivers State branch, directed the Commissioner of Police Rivers state Sulleiman Abba to thus investigate and report on ALLEGATIONS OF MURDER, ATTEMPTED ASSASINATION, THREAT OF LIVES, PHYSICAL ATTACKS AND MALICIOUS DAMAGE OF PROPERTIES MADE AGAINST ONE BARRISTER CHURCHILL OKEDU WECHIE.

The Rivers state commissioner of Police in a swift response to the directive reportedly had directed the Deputy Commissioner in-charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (State CID) to handle the matter and report back in one week. The Civil Liberties Organization, haven been copied by the Inspector General of Police in his signal letter to the CP. The CLO has been in a close monitoring of the matter. An official of the CLO told our correspondent that officers of the State CID had on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 gone to the Chambers of the accused murderer/assassin Barrister Churchill Okedu Wechie of O.C WECHIE & CO along Sani Abacha Road G.R.A Port Harcourt to inform him of the directive by the IGP that he should come to the State CID to see the Deputy Commissioner of Police In-charge for investigations on multiple allegations against him. This civil gesture and recognizance by the police was evaded by the barrister who is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. Consequently, reasons given by this lawyer, on his refusal to show up at the State CID was thus “the petitioners/complainants reported me to the mile 3 Police station in December last year. Upon invitation by that station, I absconded and petitioned to the AIG ZONE 6 Callabar who sent an invitation to the Complainants. They also failed to honour the invitation by the Zone 6, only for them to petition the Inspector General of Police who then refered the matter back to Rivers state command. If they refused to honour the invitation by Zone 6 arising from my own petition, I will not also honour the invitation arising from their own petition”.

Barrister Churchill Okedu Wechie had been accused of facilitating the death of his father, that is murdering his father, attempting to kill his father’s statutory wife and children by sending assassins/secret cultists after them, physically attacking them, personally maliciously damaging the woman Mrs. Regina Wechie’s security fence who was once his primary school teacher, by bringing it to rubbles and so many other criminal acts which he has allegedly carried out against her and her children with impunity, just so he could as he boasts, inherit his father’s estates alone.

The CLO in a swift reaction to this development urges the Nigerian police to march words with action and ensure that this Barrister Churchill Wechie is arrested and prosecuted on the allegations leveled against him in the interest of justice. The commissioner of Police Rivers state Mr. Sulleiman Abba should ensure that he lives up to his statutory duty of ridding our society of perpetuators of injustice as this same lawyer has vowed to eliminate Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie and her children who have been under serious threats and security risks so he will inherit their father’s properties alone. The Civil Liberties Organization urges the general public to join in this fight and call or sms Rivers State Commissioner of police on: 08036178777 and Commander of State CID on: 08033060696, urging them to do justice without relenting.

In the words of Livingstone Wechie, “my brother the presumed lawyer Barrister Churchill Wechie is fraudster with a long record. He has a history of chasing wives from the family away and also a professional home breaker. In 1999, he got married to an Ndele girl. That marriage lasted for only 24 hours in their honey moon at Visa Karena Hotels inPort harcourt, just shortly after their wedding as he accused the innocent girl of being pregnant for another man, a condition he had, boasting that he will never marry a girl without firstly getting her pregnant. This was the same way Churchill injected our younger brother Chimamma Wechie to death in the hospital in September 2012. He does all these with impunity but today justice must be done in all these issues.”

The CLO informed our correspondence that the Lawyer Churchill Wechie has told the Chiefs and elders ofRebisiKingdomand Chiefs and elders of RumuIhunwo Orogbu and those of Rumuokokwu Communities in Nkpolu Oroworukwo Port Harcourt to “GO TO HELL” just because they had sacrificed their precious time to resolve these issues. He reined all manner of abuses on these Ikwerre Senior Citizens during the proceedings of the peace meetings which this Barrister Churchill Wechie attended; but the Chiefs and elders have remained resolute on the truth.

For public interest, the Civil Liberties organization had petitioned the IGP and NBA, AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL etc, thus:

We write to refer to you the case of murder, threat to lives and wanton destruction of property reported against one Mr. Okedu Churchill Wechie, a legal practitioner based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Managing solicitor of O.C WECHIE & CO, Plot 248A Sani Abacha Road, G.R.A Phase 3, Port Harcourt (+2348033096293 & 08025242097).

We are encouraged by your prompt interventions in issues where human rights and justice are at the risk of being trampled upon.

A family in dire need of justice, represented by Buduka Livingstone Wechie(+234 8038657860), has reported to our organization how one Barrister Okedu Churchill Wechie facilitated the death of their father in order to take over his properties. The said legal practitioner was also said to have vowed to exterminate Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie and her children, including Livingstone, in order to be the sole inheritor of the estates/properties of her husband who was buried on Tuesday 29th November 2011 at his residence at N0 6 Okokwu street, mile 3,Port Harcourt.

He is the second son of the late first wife of the late Prince Emma Nyekazi Wechie, while Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie is the statutory wife. She has three children with him and has been married to her husband for about 34 years until his death.

In a petition accusing Churchill of willful murder of his father, it was alleged that he did not only prevent the doctors from providing to their father the appropriate treatments prescribed by the hospital when he was battling with diabetic ulcer, but personally injected the late Prince Wechie with what they believe to be dangerous chemical substance without the knowledge of the hospital. This he did, ignoring the protest by Livingstone Wechie, Mrs. Regina Wechie and Ndo, who cried out in the hospital saying “whatever happens to this man, it was Churchill that killed his father”. On Sunday, November 13, this said Barrister Churchill Wechie came to the hospital in the morning about 8.am and injected late Prince Emma Wechie with about 70- 80 ml of the suspected dangerous chemical as against 10-20 ml of insulin normally administered by Doctors. This he injected into the sick man’s belly even when the man, in his weak state, weakly waved at him to stop. This was said to have been done without the knowledge of the Doctors. As a result of this dangerous injection(suspected to be some dangerous chemical substance), the man became highly hypoglycemic (extremely low body sugar level) and unconscious and he remained in that state until he died 48 hours later, November 15, 2011.

In addition to the alleged complicity in the death of Prince Emma Nyekazi Wechie, Churchill has been alleged to have vowed to kill Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie and her children to prevent them from benefiting from the man’s properties. He was said to have boasted that he would kill them and nothing will happen.

Again, we are informed that Barrister Churchill claims and boasts that he has all his arsenals as a lawyer to deal ruthlessly with anyone that tries him including his late father’s statutory wife and children whom he now fights.

On November 29, 2011 during the funeral ceremony of Prince Emma Nyekazi Wechie, Bar. Churchill had used his thugs/cult boys to attack a Cameraman hired by Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie and her children to record the ceremony for them. During the attack, the cameraman was beaten thoroughly, his video camera ceased violently and damaged. He released the Camera after about a week after deleting all the recorded contents of the video camera, including the record of the burial and several other events in the Camera memory. He was said to have vowed to deal ruthlessly with anybody that would question his actions.

On Saturday December 17, 2011 at about 11.am, Churchill was said to have brought some suspected Cult Boys and Assassins, to demolish Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie’s Security fence wall at her house at N0 4 Chief woke(Emma Wechie Street) off Cherubim road, Port Harcourt. He was alleged to have personally led in destroying the wall. When Mrs. Wechie attempted to find out from him why he was pulling down the fence wall, Churchill after shouting “I will kill you and nothing will happen”, raised a heavy Axe to hit her , but she narrowly escaped and ran naked into her apartment for safety as her clothe was torn off from her body. As she ran, the cultists and Churchill chased her, spitting fire and brimstone at the top of their voices that they must kill her.

We are worried about the incessant threats and orchestrated attacks on the woman and her children especially as we are in a society where life is worthless to cultists. We are also worried that such deviant behaviours could be associated with a member of the noble legal profession. We consider it a serious dent on the body of Benchers which requires urgent actions from the noble body to assure the public that the bar has no room for persons who do not respect the law and the rights of others.

For the records, this same Barrister Okedu Churchill Wechie is said to have signed as the principal witness to the late Prince Emma Nyekazi Wechie during his registry wedding with his wife and widow, Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie, which he i.e. Barrister Churchill is today fighting to also kill and is practically harassing the widow and her Children, so he could solely inherit the late man’s estate. All documents to these actions signed by Churchill, including letters, threat text messages, phone calls, physical attacks and confrontation with several witnesses etc, are available when needed.

Whatever happens to the lives of Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie and her Children, Barrister Churchill Okedu Wechie and his thugs should be held responsible

Consequently, we urge you:

*To investigate the allegation of the murder of Prince Emma Nyekazi Wechie through lethal injections;

* To use your good offices to bring Barrister Okedu Churchill Wechie and his thugs to justice.

*To ensure that the security of Mrs. Regina Wechie and all her children is guaranteed;

*To bring him and his thugs to book for the attacks and incessant threats on the lives of Mrs. Regina Nyekpunwo Wechie and her children.

*To prevail on him to repair the property of Mrs. Regina Wechie he wantonly destroyed on December 17, 2011.

*To prevail on him to replace the video camera of Mr. Hector Johnson which he damaged on November 29, 2011 and replace the recorded images which he destroyed and pay adequate damages for the period he denied the Camera man his source of livelihood.

We count on your usual prompt intervention to ensure that justice is not only done, but will be seen to have been done.
